It's no secret that I love to write lists, but that I've also been feeling a bit unmotivated lately. What better to cure that than out with the old/in with the new stationery to get me back in the mood!
I know, I know, I said that you don't need to worry about having pretty stationery in order to write a good list. But there is a time and a place for a purple planner with gold diamonds embossed on the front and THIS IS IT.
kikki.K is an Australian stationery brand with an inspiring story. Unable to sleep one night, owner Kristina Karlsson made a list (a kindred spirit!) of what her ideal career would look like. And ten years later she's running one of the most successful stationery shops in Australia and New Zealand. With the Swedish design simplicity of form and function that we have all come to know and love, kikki.K gives us humble Australian aesthetic nerds the chance to organise to our hearts content with the aid of super-cute and stylish Swedish-inspired design. What more could you want in life?
Here are my favourite picks from the new kikki.K range.
'Make the most of every day' and keep your social life in check with this weekly planner, designed with weekly, monthly and notes page views to make sure you never miss an appointment and always have somewhere to jot down your thoughts. Comes in a handy A5 or A6 size that will easily fit in your handbag for notes on the go.
Or, if you're like me and you want to make sure that sneaky holiday you booked for 6 months from now is still there, you're in need of a wall planner. Make sure to mark all the upcoming FUN events in a bright colour so you can keep your excitement and motivation going. Deadlines are important too, so don't forget to include them!
While I've not reached hoarding levels (yet), I do get attached to things like old concert tickets and brochures from past holidays. At the moment, they're crammed into giant plastic tubs at my parents house but it's definitely time I do something more aesthetically pleasing with them.
These keepsake boxes are a great way to remember holidays and adventures. If you have kids, this is a great way to store their artwork year after year. Simply use the included stickers to note the country, place or year on the side of the box and not only do you get away with hanging on to that note your friend passed you in grade school that you just can't let go of, but you have a stylish addition to your bookshelves!
